Why We Don't Sell Marketing Packages
Fixed packages are easy to sell and easy to buy, and usually wrong. Here's why we tailor everything to your real situation instead.
Walk into most marketing studios and you'll be handed a menu: Bronze, Silver, Gold. It's easy to sell and easy to buy. It's also, most of the time, the wrong way to solve a real problem.
We don't sell packages at Ljus. Here's the thinking.
A package answers the question before it's been asked
A fixed package assumes it already knows what you need, before anyone has looked at your actual situation. But no two brands arrive with the same problem. One needs positioning. One needs a community. One thinks it needs a website and actually needs the data underneath it first. A menu can't see any of that; it just sells you the item with the best margin.
The best answer is sometimes "not yet"
We once had a client come to us for communications and a new website. We looked closer and saw there was no reliable data underneath any of it, no way to know what was working or why. So, we proposed building the measurement foundation first. You can't design what you can't see. A package would never have suggested that.
Tailoring is more honest and more effective
Starting from your real situation means you only pay for what actually moves you forward, and nothing you don't. It means the plan fits your stage, your goals and your budget. It's more work for us up front. It's also the difference between selling a service and solving the problem.
What we do instead
We start by understanding where you actually are: Audience, goals, what's working and what isn't. Then we combine the right capabilities into a plan made for you, and deliver it hands-on, with analytics underneath so you always know what's working. Diagnose, tailor, deliver, grow.
Packages are convenient. They're just rarely correct. We'd rather do the harder, more honest thing.
Not sure what you actually need? That's exactly where we start. Let's talk.
