LEGAL NOTICE ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING AND PROTECTION FOR THE PROCESS OF PROVIDING CONSULTANCY

1. Information Related to Data Controller
We, as Ljus İletişim Organizasyon Tasarım ve Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi (Ljus Communication Organization Design and Consultancy Limited Company), Tax ID: 6091341146, located at Atatürk Mah. Parmaksız Cad. No: 23/3 Büyükçekmece/İstanbul, are extremely sensitive to the security of your personal data.
LJUS processes and preserves personal data in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698, related secondary regulations, and binding decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board. As the Data Controller, we take all necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent unlawful processing and unauthorized access, and to ensure preservation of personal data within the limits prescribed by legislation.
2. Processed Personal Data Categories and Types
Personal Identifying Information: Name and surname belonging to the authorised personnel of the Client or Customer who will conclude the consultancy agreement.
Contact Information: Phone number and e-mail address belonging to the authorised personnel of the Client or Customer who will conclude the consultancy agreement.
Finance and Marketing: Credit card and payment information if not a company account.
Customer Processes: Invoice and customer ID.
The above personal data are processed during the conclusion and processing of the consultancy agreement between the client company and LJUS. LJUS requests that the Client Company notify its authorised personnel about this notice. Once delivered to the Client Company, the responsibility for informing authorised personnel rests with the Client Company.
3. Personal Data Collection Methods and the Activity from Which it is Obtained
As the Company, we collect your personal data automatically or semi-automatically through electronic methods.
4. Purposes and Legal Reasons for the Processing Personal Data
As the Company, we process your personal data for the purposes and legal reasons described in this notice. Personal data in the identity and contact categories, processed within the scope of sending informative commercial electronic messages for advertising, campaigns, and promotions related to product and service marketing and strategic marketing activities, will be processed based on your explicit consent pursuant to Article 5/1 of the Law.

Your personal data stated above will be stored for the period your business relationship continues and, if terminated, for a further 10 (ten) years starting from termination. Your personal data will be erased and destroyed at the first periodic destruction period after the termination of the client-consultant relationship, in accordance with related legislation.
If your relationship with LJUS or your status changes, such as becoming an employer, data retention periods may also change and you will be informed accordingly.
7. Data Protection Methods
We take all appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data and mitigate risks connected with unauthorised access, accidental data loss, deliberate erasure, or damage to personal data.
In this respect, the Company uses protection systems, firewalls, and other software and hardware containing intrusion-prevention systems; ensures lawfulness through internal policies and procedures; applies strict measures for access to personal data; requires third parties providing outsourced services to comply with the DPL; and informs all employees, especially those with access to personal data, of their duties and responsibilities under the DPL.
8. If You Fail to Provide Personal Data or Withdraw Consent
Within this process, you are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide your personal data to LJUS. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to provide the services you demand from LJUS regarding the consultancy agreement or fulfil the purposes stated above.
9. Rights of the Related Person / Data Subject
You may apply to LJUS at any time to learn whether personal data related to you are being processed; request information about processing; learn the purposes of processing and whether data are used for their intended purpose; know the third parties inside or outside the country to whom data are transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under Article 7 of Law No. 6698; request notification of third parties about processes under Article 11/d-e; object to negative consequences concluded solely through automatic analysis; and claim indemnification if you suffer damage due to illegal processing.
You may exercise these rights by completing and signing an application form available from LJUS or www.ljusconsulting.com, then submitting it in person, by certified mail, or through a notary public to Atatürk Mah. Parmaksız Cad. No: 23/3 Büyükçekmece/İstanbul. You may also sign with an electronic or mobile signature and send it to asli@ljusconsulting.com using your Registered Electronic Mail address or the e-mail address registered to the Company’s data recording system.
The first 10 (ten) pages of a written response are free of charge; a transaction fee of 1 TL is charged for each page above 10 pages. Where a recording medium such as a CD or flash memory is used, the cost will not exceed the cost of the recording medium.
Your request must be clear, understandable, and related to you. If you act on behalf of someone else, you must submit a special power of attorney approved by a notary. First name, signature, identity number, residence or workplace address, e-mail address, telephone and fax number, and other required elements are mandatory under the Notification on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Officer. Applications lacking these elements will be rejected by the Company.
LJUS reserves the right to make changes to this Notice due to the Law, secondary regulations, and Board decisions. Changes and the current text enter into force immediately as of the date of notification.
